Brian Lawrence has over 20 years of healthcare and Life Plan Community (CCRC) experience. He began serving Fellowship Senior Living, Inc. as chief financial officer in 1999, and in 2006 added the title of executive vice president.

Meet our Fellowship Senior Living Leadership Team
Mark F. Mazzella has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare, real estate management and development and not-for-profit communities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pace University.
Jack Ellias has been an administrator at Fellowship Senior Living since 1998. Mr. Ellias has more than 25 years of experience working in the long-term care field.
Dr. Arthur Sheppell is a geriatrician in Denville, New Jersey and is affiliated with Morristown Medical Center and Atlantic Medical Group. He received his medical degree from Paul Sabatier University and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Nick Bottaro’s diverse experience in healthcare started in 2002, when he spent 10 years as a Director of Sales and Marketing for a medical staffing and home health care provider. Later as a Hospice Sales Director he found his calling working in the Senior Living Industry.
Rich began his foodservice career at the age of 18 with the United States Army. While in the Army, he served his country and his passion for food and people.
Liz currently serves as a Senior Vice President of Home & Community Based Services for Fellowship Senior Living located in Basking Ridge, NJ. Liz brings with her over 10 years of home care experience, having founded Select Eldercare, a homecare agency, in 2008; it was her personal experiences with family members that motivated her to open her own elder care business.
Julie currently serves as the Executive Director of the Fellowship Foundation, whose primary focus is to advance the Fellowship Senior Living mission by providing philanthropic support to benefit Fellowship Village residents and older adults throughout the region through programs, services, and community enhancements.
Steve Morrissey currently serves as the Senior Director of Plant Operations with over 20 years’ experience in Plant Operations with specialization in Heating and Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Carpentry and Landscaping.
With skill and devotion, our volunteer board of directors complements our leadership team with their skills and experience, following the Christian principles that have defined us from the beginning.
Stanley Morin currently serves as Fellowship Senior Living’s chairman of the board. He is a certified public accountant with certifications in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and sole member of Stanley J. Morin, CPA PC.
Jeffrey Zenna is an experienced plaintiff personal injury lawyer and a partner at Blume, Forte, Fried, Zerres, and Molinari, located in Chatham, New Jersey. Jeffrey is a graduate of the City University New York School of Law (J.D., 1991).
James P Huether, CPA (inactive), has 40 years of accounting, finance and reporting experience. He has worked for General Electric, International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. and most recently with L’Oreal USA, Inc. as Senior Vice President Finance and Corporate Controller. Mr. Huether has implemented many initiatives during his career that resulted in significant cost savings, efficiencies, and growth.
Dr. Suzanne Shugg has over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Suzanne started as a registered nurse and continued her education to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and a lipid specialist. Suzanne is currently the Director of Preventive Cardiovascular Care at NJ Cardiology Associates, which is affiliated with St. Barnabas Medical Center.
Reverend Rick Morley joined Fellowship Senior Living Board in 2015. Morley has served as rector of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Basking Ridge since 2009 and dean of the Watchung Convocation since 2012.
Pastor Ted Harvey joined the board of directors of Fellowship Senior Living in 2015. Pastor Harvey was born and raised in East Texas. He received a bachelor’s in radio and television communications from Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1988 with a master’s in religious education.
Jack Woods came to Fellowship Village as a resident in 2016 after living in the Somerset Hills area for the prior fifty-four years. A graduate of Dartmouth College, where he received his master’s degree in mechanical engineering, and of NYU, where he earned an MBA and PhD in Finance and Economics; he subsequently taught Corporate Finance and Investments, primarily at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison.
Chuck received his degree in Industrial Engineering at Lafayette College and went on to earn an MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Chuck began his professional career working for the international consulting firm of Arthur D. Little, Inc. in Cambridge, MA.
Dr. Judy Pasnik moved into Fellowship Village as a resident in 2017 with her husband Michael. Her professional career was spent as a doctor of physical therapy. She worked with Brigham Hospital, The American Leprosy Mission, the VNA of Somerset Hills and founded Somerset Hill Physical Therapy, PC with offices in Basking Ridge and Bedminster.
Ralph Acquaviva’s passion for quality homemade food and hand-crafted wine led him into culinary school and a career in hospitality. Ralph received an Associates degree in Culinary Arts from Hudson County College and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Business Management from New Jersey City University.
