Alice and her husband made their home at Fellowship Village for more than five years, when Alice’s husband passed away unexpectedly last summer. “Suddenly, my financial situation was much more precarious,” Alice says. “I was worried I wouldn’t be able to remain in my home, surrounded by the people who had become my friends and family.” However, Fellowship Senior living kept its promise to Alice – as it does for all its residents – and continued to give her the best-in-class service and support she needed.
The Fellowship Promise Fund supports those who need it most – residents who through no fault of their own find themselves in financial hardship. Your support of this fund ensures we will always care for others the way we hope to be cared for ourselves.
We understand that things change, and we promise residents that we will continue to provide best-in-class service and support, even after a life-changing event. Significant health changes, a sudden financial burden or the loss of a spouse should never threaten residents’ ability to keep their homes.
We continually seek to enrich the lives of those we care for and serve, who often have the greatest insight into which programs, services, technologies or infrastructure will best enhance their lifestyle. The Life Enrichment programs focus on personal choice while recognizing the strengths, skills, abilities and diverse interests of the individuals we serve. Our vision is to encourage and fully support residents in living happier, healthier and more engaged lifestyles by becoming personally involved and taking ownership of their own goals and well-being.
We bring the arts home with our 240-seat Cultural Arts Center located on our Fellowship Village campus. The space can be easily transformed for a variety of programs, with flexible seating options as well as modern lighting and sound systems. The Cultural Arts Center is a permanent gathering space for residents and community members alike. The Cultural Arts Center features the area’s best speakers and performers. Attendees become fully engaged, and their quality of life is enriched by these opportunities.

Personalized health and medical services, programs, equipment and infrastructure are vital, especially when health and medical concerns can take so many forms. This important fund helps ensure residents continue to receive the best care possible in the best environment possible.
We have transformed our Health Center into an innovative Household Model to create an engaged and comfortable homelike atmosphere. Gracious Assisted Living suites encourage greater independence in a supportive environment. Large private Skilled Nursing suites offer a residential atmosphere with a care plan tailored to each individual. Our secure Memory Care households provide advanced care for those with Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia, with access to secured outdoor areas and an art studio that encourages creative engagement. Spacious private suites for short-term stays help individuals recover from an injury or surgery.
Together, these changes improve health outcomes and better meet residents’ needs through a person-centered approach. Your donations will support the transformation of the Health Center into custom-designed, state-of-the-art residences providing expanded services for all health needs.
Fellowship Senior Living offers more ways to support older adults who wish to stay in their home. A gift to Fellowship Helping Hands funds the ongoing compassionate care and services provided by our professional and caring team. A donation in memory of your loved one to Fellowship Garden State Hospice will help us in maintaining personal dignity and providing spiritual, social, and emotional comfort to individuals and their families.
This fund supports our compassionate and hardworking team members who need support while experiencing a hardship from a disaster or personal emergency such as a home fire or health crisis. This fund also benefits team members who wish to advance their training, obtain additional education or achieve professional goals to advance their career.
The people who care for our seniors are more than team members – they are an integral part of our family. They are the threads that connect us and tie us together as they serve meals, deliver nursing care, plan activities, and keep things running smoothly day in and day out. Team members are the key to making our mission possible. Your donation supports the well-being of our team and helps us maintain our goal of being the “employer of choice” in our region.
Promoting philanthropy is a core value at FSL. Charitable gifts are resources that provide an extra measure of peace of mind for current residents and will help to ensure the vitality of our mission in the future for the people we will serve, both on and off campus. To further support our philanthropic initiatives, in October 2019, the Fellowship Foundation was formed.
The mission of the Fellowship Foundation is to advance the Fellowship Senior Living Mission by providing philanthropic support to benefit Fellowship Village residents and older adults throughout the region through programs, services, and community enhancements. The Foundation is committed to working in partnership with like-minded organizations in the broader community.
Congratulations to residents Dr. Judith Pasnik and David Badertscher who have agreed to serve as our inaugural Trustees of the Fellowship Foundation.
