fellowship foundationTo support its philanthropic initiatives, Fellowship Senior Living (FSL) created the Fellowship Foundation on July 16, 2019. Fellowship Senior Living is the sole member of the Foundation. The formation of the Foundation will provide greater opportunities to raise funds to support Fellowship Senior Living to enhance programs and services and upgrade and expand their physical capabilities and campuses. All gifts intended for Fellowship Senior Living should be directed to the Fellowship Foundation. The Foundation will accept and disburse all donations intended for Fellowship Senior Living.

The mission of the Foundation is to advance the Fellowship Senior Living mission by providing philanthropic support to benefit Fellowship Village residents and older adults throughout the region through programs, services, and community enhancements. The Foundation is committed to working in partnership with like-minded organizations in the broader community.

Fellowship Senior Living continually adapts and changes to meet the needs and interests of its residents while staying true to its mission and core values. Fellowship Foundation is central to this effort and the ongoing improvements at Fellowship Village.

Fellowship Foundation raises funds to support the Fellowship Village community, as well as home and community based services. These services are offered to seniors throughout New Jersey and include home-health services, hospice, Fellowship Freedom Plans and physical, occupational and speech therapies both on and off campus. Fellowship Village is home to over 400 residents enjoying lifestyles from single family independent living homes, villas and apartments to assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care homes. The Life Plan Community (also known as CCRC) offers a full complement of lifestyle enhancements, in addition to five-star dining. A new cultural arts center featuring a state-of-the-art-theater, upscale bar & lounge with alfresco dining, expanded medical center and spa and fitness center will ensure Fellowship Village remains a leader in senior living.

No two residents are the same. And that’s why personalized care in a private setting is so important, especially when a decline can present in different cognitive and physical ways, depending on the person we are serving. To address this, we have transformed our Health Center into an innovative Household Model to create an engaged and comfortable homelike atmosphere. Gracious Assisted Living suites encourage greater independence in a supportive environment. Large private Skilled Nursing suites offer a residential atmosphere with a care plan tailored to each individual. Our secure Memory Care households provide advanced care for those with Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia, with access to secure outdoor areas and an art studio that encourages creative engagement. Spacious private suites for short-term stays help individuals recover from an injury or surgery. Together, these changes make our community safer, healthier, and they ensure more of our services are customized to each of our resident’s unique needs.

Fellowship Foundation is currently supporting the future expansion and enhancement of Fellowship Village’s Health Center. Not only will the renovations make for a more beautiful environment, they will greatly improve the quality of life for our residents. With tailored services, updated and enlarged rooms, and an emphasis on a more “home-like” setting, the Health Center will allow us to provide even better care.
